Hi! I’m Katharina Manz, a multidisciplinary industrial designer and artist passionate about turning ideas into meaningful products, spaces, and experiences. Born and raised in Germany, I moved to the US in 2010, where I expanded my creative perspective and continued exploring the connection between design, art, and technology.

I studied Industrial Design at Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts & Design, developing a strong foundation in materials, craftsmanship, and hands-on making. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with different brands and industries, gaining experience in product development, sustainable design, visualization, and understanding how people interact with the world around them.

I believe great design balances creativity, functionality, and purpose. Whether developing a new product, exploring sustainable solutions, or bringing ideas to life through art and visualization, I’m driven by the process of creating thoughtful designs that connect with people and stand the test of time.

Freelance - Industrial Designer

Designed and developed the cabin exterior and interior from concept through prototype.
Managed testing and prototyping through 3D printing, wood shaping, iron welding and model fabrication.
Supervised in-house mold making for injection molding and pad printing, ensuring precision and high production quality.
