Why metal? Because metal is very forgiving. When working with wood or plastic, one wrong move and your art piece is ruined. However, with metals, if for whatever reason you don't get a part right, you can simply melt the piece and try welding it again in the next round.

There is something else about metal that makes me love working with it. Perhaps it's the fact that despite being a hard material, it can be easily shaped and transformed into something beautiful with the right techniques.
