Ensuring restroom access in hyperloop pods, no matter the speed.
No matter our location, there's always that one essential we can't do without: toilets. Whether we're on a train, in a plane, or stopping our car for a sudden need, restrooms are a necessity we all rely on – and hyperloops are no exception. Regardless of how rapid a hyperloop pod's speed, restroom facilities remain indispensable.
Reinventing restroom experiences.
We wanted to craft a design that goes way beyond a typical restroom experience. By using innovative aesthetics, thoughtful materials, and smart spatial arrangements, our goal was to create an environment that evokes anything but a traditional restroom. This means integrating elements that mimic calming lounges, incorporating soft lighting, and using quality finishes that elevate the overall ambiance.
How it works.
After flush activation a vacuum is created in intermediate tank
The bowl is rinsed
Bowl contents are discharged into intermediate tank
Pressure is increased to transport contents of intermediate tank to waste water tank
