Syrpho - A Syringe Reinvented
18. Medical Design
Redefining blood extraction in modern times.
Syringes have been used to draw blood for centuries, with only incremental changes to the basic design. However, the current hemanalysis research reveals that analyzing the components of blood requires only a small quantity, just a few drops, to yield accurate results.
After sticking to the same syringe design for over 4000 years, I believed it was time to modernize the approach to blood extraction.
Changing the experience.
Lots of people don't like having their blood drawn. They're scared of needles, the pain, or seeing blood. Syrpo changes that by creating a blood drawing device that makes the whole process easy and comfortable for everyone.

Advanced blood drawing.
Thanks to an integrated ultrasound, there's no need to visually locate a vein before the needle punctures the skin for blood extraction; the device automatically pinpoints it. This feature is especially significant for elderly patients, as locating a vein can be challenging even with the naked eye.
